ReEnter the Ranch!

Yesterday I featured my "completed" Entryway.  Today's Chinoiserie Chic Blog was all about over sized ginger jars.  I have a true addiction to "blue and white" and used to dream about the large ginger jars on the dining room table that she spoke of.  Well, today, as I was innocently getting out and about to avoid cabin fever and doing a harm to someone, I ran into these jars at Homegoods.

They were so crazy inexpensive, I couldn't "step away from the blue and white."  Actually, I did walk away -twice.  I even left the store, all the while making deals with myself/rationalizing and then returned two hours later.  Since they were still there, I took it as a sign that they were meant for me.  Do you think I lack self-control?   Whatever.  Don't they look amazing against the Etruscan Red walls?!  I hope to capture them in the sunlight someday when it reappears and after I touch up the base board paint!

I've got something similar on my living room mantle -- one a really good one that husband Jim brought home from an Asian trip and another found years and years later at HomeGoods for like "nothing"! Yours really look good on the floor against the red walls next to your black piece.

I did post about it at Lines from Linderhof -- check out the blue and white posts --

Of course, I think blue and white goes with anything and everything!

I am cracking up at your posts, and have no fear- I have justified purchases in this same manner.
