Not as dramatic as I would have liked but as I could not get on the other side of this wall to pull these buttons taut, this is as good as it gets. Note to self: Next time you are spending way too much time and money on a house you don't own, tuft THEN hang. Oh by the way, this installation is built right on to the wall. Hopefully the landlord will love it, if he even notices it. He's pretty carefree.

Such a strong statement without a lot of money in it! I love the choice of plaid and the tuffting really adds detail.
we're upgrading from a queen to a king bed. i want to make our own upholstered headboard... and i will definitely remember to tuft before hang! thanks for the tip. happy 4th. pam
