This week's photo challenge at Razmataz is PATTERN. While roaming the Farmer's Market today, I spied this Winterberry bush. All I could see was that good ol' double helix pattern -
I could have definitely had a career in genetic research, but the pesky subject of Math, really got in the way. Gregor Mendel will always be one of my heroes. Let's hear it for the fruit fly! Okay, again, it takes all kinds.

I love it! You are too funny, and I do love the photo! Kit
Aren' they just the lovliest beries for this time of year. I hadn;t noticed that they grew in doubles.
Have a great weekend.
Very interesting place you saw pattern.
Winterberries are so pretty. We have a huge shrub by our pond and this time of year when the landscape becomes drab of color the shrub takes your breath away with it's brilliant RED.
I LOVE patterns in nature! I probably would have posted nature patterns if it wasn't already dark out here LOL
happy day!
Great choice! Very clever. :)
I love that you saw the double helix in the way those berries grew. It's always so interesting how everyone sees and interprets things in their own unique way. Thanks for stopping by my blog! Ann
Happy Birthday! Hope it's wonderful!
Thanks Carol!
